Joseph R. Bongiorno was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1959. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1985, and U.S. District Court, Southern, Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1990.  He was further admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Educated at  Boston College for his undergraduate degree (obtaining BA with honors in 1981) and his juris doctor from Fordham University (JD 1984), Joseph R. Bongiorno has used his legal expertise fighting for his clients ever since.  he is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association; Association of Trial Lawyers of America; American Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, and has been a Guest Lecturer at St. John’s University School of Law for a Trial Practice Course from 1988-1995. Mr. Bongiorno has a passion for helping people at all levels of litigation. Mr. Bongiorno treats every client with respect and integrity, bringing a positive energy to all of the matters he handles.

MARIS SATTELY has been associated with Joseph R. Bongiorno since 1995.   Ms Sattely was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1966; She was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1992.  In 1993, Ms. Sattely was admitted to the New York York State Bar, Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, In 2005 she was admitted to the Bar, Supreme Court of the United States. Ms. Sattely was educated at the  College of the Holy Cross, obtaining her B.A. in 1988. She attended the University of London-School of Law in 1991.  Ms. Sattely obtained her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1992.  She has been a guest lecturer at Felician College.  Ms. Sattely is an active Member of the New York Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Bergen County, County Committee, Bergen County, and Town of Oradell, New Jersey Planning Board. Ms. Sattely brings a level of energy and committment to her practice of law that is unrivaled.

Samantha A. Miller has worked with  Joseph R. Bongiorno as his associate since 2000.   Ms. Miller was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1969.  She was admitted to the NewYork State Bar in 1995 and admitted to the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York in 1998; In 2000 Ms. Miller was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey United States District Court, as well as the Southern District of New York. In 2007 Ms. Miller was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, and in 2009 she was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. She was educated at CUNY Queens College for her undergraduate degree, graduating Cum Laude in 1991. She attended  Tel Aviv University Spring Semester, Overseas Program in 1989.  Ms. Miller attended Hofstra University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor in 1994.  She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section and Torts Insurance and Compensation Law Section, Essex County Bar Association. Ms. Miller brings a zeal to the representation of her clients that brings a positive energy to each of her cases.
